Sittin' on the dock of the bay, travelers watch the time roll away at this "resting place" with an "excellent location" close to trolley and bus lines for easy North Beach and Downtown access; though some find a "professional", "smiling" staff, others knock it all as a "rebranded Motel 6", that's fine only "if you're looking for a safe place to sleep and don't care about" "shabby" facilities.

The concierge was very pleasant and helpful.
The bar/lobby was not comfortable or inviting.

Business center use should be free. The Priceline site said our room would have a view of the pool, city or courtyard. It had a view of the driveway.

The location was great. We were able to walk to Fisherman's wharf very easily.
The rooms were very cold and lacked central heat. We had a wall heather which ran constantly.

The location was really good.
The rooms are outdated, small, and loud.
The proximity to Fisherman's wharf was the plus of this hotel. The experience was OK - the rooms are small, outdated, and you can hear almost everything. It was certainly not a 3-star hotel.
